One of many sites on the Trail of Tears National Historic Trail, Port Royal State Park is a scenic 26-acre day-use park. The Red River runs through the park and is popular with fishers, and the park also offers a 1/4-mile scenic hiking trail along the river. The park is an offshoot of Dunbar Cave State Park, located 12 miles east of Clarksville.
